İbrahim M. Turhan, Ph.D, Chairman & CEO Borsa İstanbul

Chairman & CEO of Borsa İstanbul, İbrahim M. Turhan, holds a BSc in Management from Boğaziçi University, Istanbul. He received his M.A. degree in Marmara University on International Banking in 1995, and his Ph.D. degree from the same university in 2001. Mr. Turhan was the Deputy Governor and Monetary Policy Committee member of Central Bank of Turkey until his appointment to his new role in Borsa Istanbul in 2012. Mr. Turhan has many articles on financial economics, macroeconomics, and political economy published in periodicals in Turkish and English.
